Overview
Hoher Riffler - peak in the Zillertal Alps - Austria. Lies in the province of Tyrol. It is one of four prominent peaks of the massif Tuxer Hauptkamm. Located on the northeast of peaks Olperer and Gefrorene-Wand-Spitzen.
It`s good destination to non climber hikers. Threethousander accessible without glacier passing or hard climbing, under I.
Getting There
From motorway A20 turn south in Wiesing to Zillertal Bundesstrase (No 169) direction Mayrhofen. From Finkenberg two possibilities - Zemmtal (toll road to Schlegeiss Dam) or Tuxeretal - famous ski resort - Hintertux

Many campings in Zillertal. My favourite is in Mayrhofen.

Guidebook Hiking to summit
Easiest way to get on the top is trail from Schlegeiss dam (Schlegeisspeicher). About 4 hourn to summit. First to Frisenbergaus (2 hours), next right to Peterskopfl. Under summit often little snow fields. Beware of moving the stone rubble.
