Val di Mello

Val di Mello

Page Type Page Type: Album

Val di Mello is ...

... the valley that, inside the Masino mountains, on its south (Italian) side, divides the main ridge (Badile-Castello) from the ridge coming toward west from Monte Disgrazia.

... known as the little Yosemite,
... the best (I think) granite rock climbing area of Europe hosting routes (up to 600m) that can be climbed all year long
... and in winter some of very fine icefall climbs
... and in spring and summer a fabulous site for family hikes and picnics :)

and now it is a Natural Park

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
