OfflineA Little About Me
I have always been impressed by the majesty of mountains but realized only two years ago how much being on a summit was giving a unique impression of freedom, humility and respect.
I am a nature-lover, born in the countryside of Belgium (not very high in altitude though ;) and travel around as much as I can for walking as well as discovering new mountain sceneries. I have a preference for dramatic ones...
I found summitpost.org only a few weeks ago and am spending my time on your pages since then ;) Many of the reports are really stunning; pictures are incredibly breathtaking! I have used one of these trip reports for a trek in Switzerland/Liechtenstein a few days ago. Really useful! I will gladly participate to the life of the website in the next coming weeks! My summits history (summited or not due to bad weather conditions): Switzerland: Falknis (2652m sumitted last Saturday!), Kleine scheidegg (2061m) // Liechtenstein: Grauspitz (2566m Approached, not sumitted) // UK Wales Snowdonia: Snowdon (1085m), Pen Yr Ole Wen (978m), Carnedd Dafydd (1044m), Tryfan (915m), Glyder Fawr (999m), Glyder Fach (994m), Uyn y Cwn (710m), Carnedd Llewellyn (1064m approached, not summited), Y garn (947m - approached, not summited) // UK Isle of Skye: Cuillins (992m approached, not summited) // Faroe Islands (Norwegian Sea / North Atlantic Ocean), Eystruroy Island: Slaettaratindur (882m approached, not summited), Grafelli (856m), Sandfelh (762m), Tjornudalur (523m), Husafelli (591m), Krosstindur (576m), Vagar Island: Arnafjall (722m approached, not summited), Eysturtindur (715m) // France: Grand Ballon des Vosges (1424m). It's a start!
