An early season climb of Picacho Peak in SE California. Unfortunately the first, smaller ladder has a split running along the left rail held together by some webbing, but it should probably be replaced by anyone willing to front the cost for a small aluminum ladder. For aiding back up the crux, I decided to prusik instead of use etriers, an technique that is probably easier to learn for people looking to bag this peak without a lot of gear or technical experience.
