Overview
This sport climbing place is a small wall with 13 easy and only one difficult routes. The rock is well equipped. Sometimes you can feel it is overbuilt but the tons of bolts provide a million number of variations of climbing routes.
It's also a good warming up or learning place if you want to climb easy and very safe rock.
This place is located in Wienerwald (Wien-forest) and it is a very good quality limestone. The length of the routes are 5-15m.
Another advantage of Siegenfelder Platte is that you can reach it from your car in five minutes.
Getting there
Distance: 271km from Budapest
Distance: 40km from Wien downtown
Take motorway A21 from Wien and at the 17km cross turn in the direction of Mödling. At the first cross turn left (direction of Gaaden). Before you reach Gaaden there is a possibility to turn right to Siegenfeld.
Go along this route and when you pass Siegenfeld and the next place called Rosental you will find a right bend with a small white bridge. There is a forest route with a barrier and a table. You can leave your car here.
Go 300m on the forest route and you can find the rock to your right.

Accommodation
Paradise Garden
We use this camping because we usually want to climb on Peilstein and Siegenfelder Platte too and we like to take hikes nearby so that's why we choose a little bit further accommodation to stay. It's a very nice, clean and calm place.
If you want to stay elsewhere there are many pansions all around the Wienerwald region but these are more expensive.
