Product Description

"Anti-microbial treatment prevents fungus and bacteria from growing inside your pad. Comes with repair kit that stows neatly in a pocket within the stuff sack. Low-volume, tapered, mummy-shape design increases efficiency and compressibility. Quick-closing, high-volume airflow valve allows the pad to inflate and deflate quickly. R-Value equals 3.1. Rugged Taslan nylon diamond-ripstop upper surface has a non-slip texture; 75-denier polyester bottom ssurface resists wear. Stuff sack (included) protects pad during transport and ensures a compact parcel every time. Travel light and sleep comfortably--at just over a pound, our ultra-compact pad takes up little space in your pack and won't weigh you down. X-Core foam insulation is cross-cored for maximum compressibility and weight reduction." (From REI)

The best
Really light, really compact, easy to inflate, comfortable and costs less than the big name alternative. Not only does it cost less but it comes with a stuff sack and patch kit both of which the other lacks.

Great deal
I've slept on the REI lite-core 1.5 for the past three weeks and felt very comfortable on it. Very compact and light in my backpack and very easy to fit into the stuff sack. The one I bought recently has an R-Value of 3.2, I am going to use it in snow in some weeks, we'll see how that goes.

Pretty Rugged
I use a floorless tent all summer and this pad has yet to fail me. It is a bit slick with a slick bag so watch out you don't wake up on the ground!

Pretty good
but the valve doesnt want to hold air very well over long periods of time, not a problem overnight but something to consider
