Very warm bag
Excellent sleeping bag for lightweight expeditions/winter climbing. Too warm for the temps around zero degrees C. The -30°C limit is meant to be a comfort (not survival) limit for this bag, and it's apparently true. Very good quality bag. The weight to warmth ratio of this bag is outstanding. The 3D collar is well designed. Enough space inside to store some necessary things overnight, such as a couple of water bottles, batteries, and other stuff sensitive to freezing. In the beginning it can be a bit tricky to close the bag from inside (messing around with drawcords and velcro closures), but once the system becomes familiar, there is no problem.

Just fantastic !
I own this sleeping bag since 2004 and use it mostly in altitude conditions (Andes, Pamir, Iran, Alps), up to 6300m. I must say that I have NEVER been cold, even in really freezing weather. The shape is very good and the collar works great and make it really comfortable. It is very light and also very compressible, which is crucial on any expedition.

I sent it twice to Valandré in France to have it cleaned and the first time, they refilled it with a bit of goose down. The price was reasonable and the result was if I had a brand new sleeping bag.

I would recommend it to anyone who would like a really versatile exedition down bag.
