Untitled ReviewIt is also a good garment to have at camp, since it's warm and windproof. The good wind performance, abrasion resistance, and moderate insulation work well for ice climbing too.
I would not even think about wearing this for summer climbing. It would be way to warm, like other insulated soft shells.
The styling on this garment is really nice, love that bright orange. However, I think it is way overpriced.
There is serious design flaw with this jacket, though. It is not long enough. Cold air easily gets underneath it or on your back while bending your torso. The extra large was too bulky for me, and the large I found out after using it was too short. Another thing I don't like is the neck. It is too big, and allows falling ice and water to get in though your neck; a very unpleasant experience.
