A new generation of crampons.
Ten points in contact with ice while you’re walking, 12 that bite into the slope during traverses.
This has been made possible because the third pair of points are shorter and wider apart.
On top of this the last two front points have a double angulation to maintain bite when descending or traversing sideways.
The crampons points are short and designed for the new requirements of “mixed modern’s” alternating ice and rock.
Sharp points are ideal for anchoring on ice “cauliflowers” and when in traction or adherence.
Even the soles of the most modern boots are perfectly covered.
Semi-rigid model in one adjustable size.
The bar can be regulated by hand, in two different lengths.
These New versions have a new binding made in “bi-components” giving greater efficiency and lightness.
It is really an “all seasons” crampon, very light and takes up a minimum of space as it folds up completely on itself.

Available in the following binding systems: Cramp-O-Matic, A system which relies on a nylon speed lever in the rear and a stainless steel front bale to hold the boot. Quick to put on, these bindings are perfect for plastic mountaineering boots that have a rigid sole and substantial heel and toe welts. The stainless steel safety strap is permanently mounted on the front bale and prevents total loss of the crampon should it be forced off the boot.
New-Matic, An evolution of the Cramp-O-Matic system which utilizes the C-O-M rear bale and lever. The plastic harness system is hinged from two front posts which retain the boot securely even if it has a shallow, worn front welt or overboots are being used. It is a simple and efficient binding, which is far more versatile than the original Cramp-O-Matic style. Made in bi-component plastic: the black part is the stronger, bearing the strain whilst the yellow part is softer, increasing adherence to the boot. The harness is made from the strongest, most durable plastic available -Zytel DuPont, which was developed for the manufacture of alpine ski bindings. Obviously it cannot last forever, so please, after long and severe use replace the harness the same way you would resole trekking boots or rock climbing shoes.
New Classic, an evolution of the Classic binding. Both front and rear plastic harnesses are hinged from their respective retention posts and may be "opened" to facilitate attachment to the boot, then closed securely once the boot is inside. The single strap closure system is so simple we may not need to provide instructions; the New Classic is therefore ideal for rental programs and first time users. This system is simple and reliable, quick and easy, but it does take up a bit more space in the rucksack.
GSb™, Grivel- Scarpa Binding system. The next generation of binding. The GSb™ (Grivel Scarpa binding) is a safer, easier and faster system to attach to the boot. It’s safer because with the GSb™ ,there is nothing potruding to catch on rocks or in cracks resulting in the front bale detaching. It’s easier because unlike traditional models, the GSb™ hook grip doesn’t depend on the shape, or above all the wear of the boots’ sole. It’s faster than any other system – very useful if you have to continually put them on and off. It’s more compact: limiting the space needed to stow away crampons.

Really good
I use these crampons for two years.
They are good for classic mountaineering, winter ascents, I also use them for classic North face routes and Mixed routes and easier Ice Climbing routes.
Very good allrounder.

Worked well
The store shipped me these because they were out of New-Matic G10s, and I'm not dissapointed. The bar and rear binding adjusted to my boots easily (no tools required), and feels very secure. The strap system is workable when wearing heavy gloves and doesn't come loose. Walking is barely more taxing than when just using boots, and they feel very stable when traversing across a steep slope.
