Approach
The startingpoint is Sudetendeutsche hut.
Sudetendeutsche hut is approachable from many sites. From Matrei, Kals am Grossglockner, over the
Dr. Karl Jirsh Weg from the Felbertauernstrasse road at "Landecksäge" (ca. 1400 m) in valley Taurental.
From Sudetendeutsche hut is to the top of Gradötzspitze around one hour and half.
Route Description
From the Sudetendeutsche hut you follow the signposts for the route 502b and soon you come to the first crossing where you turn to the right and you cross the SW slopes of the Gradötz spitze (3063m) and come to the next crossing. The right route goes on the Dürrenfeld notch (2823m) and then continues on the Kendlspitze. The left one is our route and turns to the NE direction. You walk to the top by crossing the slopes and climbing over some rocks. Nothing special.

You descend by the same route. From all route you have great view on other mountains.
Essential Gear
Good hiking shoes. In Winter total Winter equipment. Good peak for tour skiing.
