Route Description

Easy trail and well-graded. The route goes east up the south side of the mountain before it switchbacks to the summit ridge. An easy walk down the ridge gets you to the lookout tower. 5 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of just over 1000 feet. Took me 49 minutes to summit.

Essential Gear

None needed except a camera to get shots of Crater Lake.
