Just got back from climbing Mount Dana today. Overall, a great trip. We started right by Tioga Pass on the standard route and took three hours to reach the summit. Numerous wildflowers on the lower part of the trail. Only snow we saw was off the trail. The trail was easy to follow until about 12,000'. After that, we had to pick a path through a massive rock pile that covered the top of the mountain. This wasn't too difficult to navigate, however. Just picked the path to follow that went up the fastest. View at the top was awesome. All of Mono lake was visible as were many other peaks. It took about 2 hours to go down, mainly because we had to be careful walking down the numerous rocks covering the top of the mountain.
