Overview
The Treunitz climbing wall is a rock with a height between 10 and 18 meters and offers 38 routes!
The difficulties are between UIAA IV+ up to IX,
The overhanging rock offers climbing even on rainy days, the rock is dry.
During summertime the wall, wich is directed to the south, gets very very hot.
The wall is slab, vertical as well as overhanging and offers
very good Secure points and returning hooks.
The rock structure offers holes and borders.
Getting There
Highway 70 from Bamberg in direction of Bayreuth,
take the exit Stadelhofen.
Left direction , you pass the village Wotzendorf in direction to Eichenhüll.
Follow the way to Eichehnüll and then to Treunitz.
In Treunitz go left to Hollfeld, after 1 km on the right side of the road is a parking range, and 100 meters above is the climbing wall.
Red Tape
The rock was devided in different zones in the context of a climbing concept and assigned
thezones 1 and 3: In subranges both climbing and the
development are permitted of new routes, within other ranges are
forbidden climbing. Please notice the signs considers locally.
Camping
There are a lot of cheap guest houses in Treunitz and the villages around.
Wild camping is not allowed.
