Nice aid photosLooks fun. That is one thin crack (or is it a seam). What type of protection did you use on it?

Re: Nice aid photosI think it was originally a Rurp seam, hence the name " Old A5 ". If I recall correctly - a tied off sawed off 1" angle, a tied off blade stack, a tied off sawed off 3/4" angle, a tied off leeper stack, another tied off blade stack, two fixed rurps, another tied off Leeper stack, 3 fixed copperheads, a rivet, a hook move, finally a 3/8 bolt and another rivet finally led to TCU and Alien placements. I kept hoping to find some pro - and did about 65' up!

Re: Nice aid photosYou must have been doing lots of "gardening" up there too Craig, I had a constant shower of gravel and dirt while belaying Dave.

Re: Nice aid photosDebris from whatever hammered the terrain! When I told Alice " oh and something completely annihilated the area ", she found that scarier than the climb!

Jedi MasterAhhh.....the Rock Jedi Master in action! The section Craig is on just passed 4 copperheads, 2 RURPS and a hook move....pretty ballsy stuff. I still think it reaches into a tad bit of A4....
