Where The Red Fern Grows

Where The Red Fern Grows

"I had a dog and his name was King, I told the dog about everything. There in my truck the dog and I, Then one day, the King up and DIED ..." As Autumn proceeds over AZ's "Call of the Canyon" trail, a heavy rain brings out the changing colours of ferns, with 7,089' Harding Point forming the backdrop. October 26, 2011

Re: Is that

It's a "non-technical" place that has been
popularized and publicized in the magazine
"Arizona Highways."

It's also a place where technical climbers
and non-technical hikers can BOTH kick off
their shoes, and possibly enjoy a quiet Fall evening singing "Pink Floyd" tunes around
the crackling campfire.

Re: Is that

You could have just said "location is proprietary", Larry.
:D :D ;)

Also, if you heard me trying to sing ANYTHING around the fire, you would want to stick ice picks in your ears.

Re: Is that

Yeah, but I could give you a rather large
set of bongo drums to beat with your hands.

:- )

This is a place where you can yell and scream, and the music doesn't have to match
the beat, and the rhythm doesn't have to
match your clumsy FEET.

Unless, of course, you were a perfectionist.

Geez ... I hate folks who are PERFECT.
