Long Road Hike-Closer to 16 Miles than 12This road feels neverending at times, especially if you start from the lower TH. Definitely a unique 14er experience.

Competing with 4WD VehiclesWould not recommend hiking this road... you're competing with motorcycles, ATVs, and lots of other 4WD offroad vehicles (and their fumes/noise). Was not a fun hike by this route. I do like Dropmo40's night hike idea for this route.

Baldwin Gulch RoadI parked at the very bottom of the road and hiked all the way from there. I cheated and cut the switchbacks on the way up. I caught a ride with some other hikers on the way down.
