nice shot, the faulting of the units is especially nice, some cool strucutre behind the current outlay of the layers. Great shot.

Thanks for the vote and the kind words.

I believe this is part of large, much eroded Miocene volcano. Somewhere I have some notes from a geologist, am going on memory here.
