"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Bushwhacks on WeatherwaxTagged all 3 spots. Bushes were very wet but it wouldn't be Grays Harbor otherwise. The Satsop Center on the north side of Weatherwax, has 2 bed rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom/showers for $35 per night. Also conveniently located for the Grays Harbor CoHP. WA CoGPP 29/39

WeatherwaxI witnessed, for not the last time, a possible WA COGPP completion or two on this peak.

Summited After Grays Harbor CoHPI decided, because I had just summited the Grays Harbor County Highpoint, that I might as well summit the Most Prominent Point in the county, as well, on the same day. After all, both are initially approached via Wynoochee Valley Road. When summiting the two western summit contenders of Weatherwax Ridge, I mistakenly chose the eastern approach. Bad move. The Devil's Clubs and other thorny plants were everywhere. I should have approached those highpoint locations from the western side of that particular hill. The third summit contender seemed very easy to walk to and determine.
