"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

First Winter Ascent? Not likely... Snowshoes would have made this a snap, but I enjoyed the 'hard' one mile-plus, postholing bag of these three points in knee to thigh deep snow. I wasn't to be detered!!

On the way to SturgisHah, surprised to see this neat little highpoint get a page! This was a nice little hike and "hunt" in thick forest for the possible HP. I visited all areas and walked the liner to be statistically confident I was there, wherever there is. The rock outcrops were fun. I figure I spent an hour for this HP. This was a day after coming down off Granite Peak in Montana, so I was still sore. Later today I drove my weenie little economy rental car into Sturgis for the biker rally, and even up and down the main drag a few times.

Mosquito hellDid this one after I had climbed Cloud Peak with Dennis Poulin. The mosquito population were waiting for me and they made my visit miserable. I would recommend doing this one(as in three spots) in the fall.
