Re: Will be theregood luck on your climb!!! Sleep at Camp Shurman if possible. Emmons Flats is really an empty sloped glacier, and you have to use the blue bag system for your waste and carry it down to camp Shurman.

Re: Will be thereGot shut down by weather on Monday July 12. The storm kept getting worse as we climbed. My rope team turned around at 11,500 and our second rope team got to about 13,000 before they had no choice but to return. Wind, icicles crashing down, and white-out conditions. Not good for seeing the crevasses! But needless to say, great experience. Our luck changed for the next objective. On Thursday we summited Mt. Shuksan in the Northern Cascades. Incomparable beauty.

Re: Will be thereWe did stay at Shurman. Fantastic views. Didn't need to use blue bags until we got to our high camp on the Sulphide Glacier to climb Mt. Shuksan in the Northern Cascades. Most beautiful area I've ever seen.

Re: Will be thereI hope that next time you will have a better weather. The weather can be so frustrating at times... Congratulations on Mt. Shuksan!
