Re: Very nice!This picture has been taken from the West slope of Kazbek (something around 4200-4500 m). The distant white mountains are Bezengi massif. Elbrus (5648) is poorly visible in the haze - it is the most distant white spot on the photo.

the peaks are Djimarai (4780 m) to the left and Shauk-hokh (4636 m) to the right. The peak in the middle below the other two is Maili-Khok (4600m). In the far distance you see Dych-Tau, Koshtan and Elbrus. See also: http://www.summitpost.org/image/410356/170909/summit-view.html

great pictureWhat can be more beautiful than Caucasus... It seems Lermontov and Pushkin are still there. And all the mess is certainly there today. Great picture and page!
