This photograph isawesome. It fascinates me how the peaks catch
hold of the LIGHT and don't let go of it.
I've been to Flaming Gorge (as a fisherman),
but I've never took the time to hike in the
eastern half of the Uintas. Looks like this
could possibly be 'mosquito country?'
One time when I was fishing the Green River
below Flaming Gorge, I caught a Brown trout
on an artificial fly that resembled a
mosquito. I let the fish go back into the
stream. I wonder what became of that fish.
Beautiful! Greetz from Arizona, Larry.

Re: This photograph isThanks Larry. It was a beautiful morning and I sat and watched the sunrise for more than an hour. I took a number of photos but liked the composition of this one the best. My brother (a talented artist) was there too and came away with a few really fantastic photos. I'm trying to get him on SP to share a few of them with everyone here. As far as mosquitos go, there were a few but a lot less than one would expect.
