"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Mount IanDid Ian first and then went on to Wrightson. The views looking across to Wrightson are worth doing it if for no other reason.

Via Old Baldy Trail with "Rice Peak"We enjoyed typical, beautiful fall southern Arizona weather. The Old Baldy trail is always a pleasant way to work the lungs and legs. Found a disembodied ruminant stomach (ewwww!) still full of freshly-chomped grass laying in the trail - pretty spooky. I presume a Cougar had something to do with this, but the body was nowhere to be found. Loved the views and loved finally placing my feet on this crest that I so often admire from the back patio. Can't wait to do the other peaks along the ridge and near Florida Saddle!
