early in the morning my old friend and climbing partner Mario Bianchi has gone away
He was member of CAAI (Club Alpinistico Accademici Italiani) : the "elite" of not professional Italian climbers
Together with Walter Bonatti, Andrea Oggioni and Emilio Villa In 1949 (21 Yo) he made the first italian repetition of the Cassin Route to the Walker spur (Grandes Jorasses)
