Thunder Mountain East Ridge

Easy and not so easy routes to the summit of Thunder Mountain from the south summit. This view is looking back at the south summit from the north. The green route is the correct and easier class 3 route, not difficult at all just a bit exposed. Climb all the way up to the south summit and follow cracks and ledges down to the notch between the south and middle summit. I wasn't aware of the need to climb all the way up the south summit and instead followed the red route to the notch. At the base of the traverse there is nothing but friction foothold across a sloping ledge over a wicked drop... and zero handholds. Much more relaxing going for me on the return.
