The route description lists the summit as a Class 3, I beg to differ, it' a 4. Extreme exposure ...... I opted for the false summit easy class 3 climb. Also hiked Thunder Mtn. for the second time

An enjoyable outing with Matthew traversing to Carson Pass via snowshoes, tagging the various summits along the way. Trip Report.
I had my eye on this peak for almost a year. The true summit was really tough. The false summit is easy, but that last few feet were intense, exposed class 3. Perfect day in July. Snow free trek from the northwest side.
