Yep!Did you check that spire out? I got a bit of the way and ran into a huge block that moved when I tested it. Time to come back with gear I suppose....

Re: Yep!that sounds pretty harrowing - i did test around it a bit when searching for the highest spire, but never got up very high. do you think that my appraisal of the chimney to the proper summit being class 3 is appropriate?

Only thing that bothered me was that I think you're right and the other spire is higher. I was thinking of going back with a rack, maybe in the spring....

Re: Yep!A few notes:
1. There has been an anti-cairn and anti-summit register zealot in the Tucson area removing both of these said items. As such, there is no summit market/register of any kind on this peak.

The verdict is that the traditional, 3rd class summit is, indeed, the highpoint. Thoughts?
