"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Nice easy descentLed/simul-climbed the NW Buttress with Chris Terry while Dave Millar and Joel Bernier soloed it beside us. The climbing was easier than expected. Clean, fun rock, easy pro, and easy routefinding. The 5.7 direct finish was also very fun and secure climbing.
Chris and I descended the SW Ridge, but took a shortcut descent off of the ridge somewhere between the standard route and the West Face route. This route is mostly easy sandy walking, with a few short sections of easy cl. 3 scrambling.
