Mountain Jim - Mar 5, 2006 2:08 am Date Climbed: Jul 19, 1975
From Mt. Lady Washington
Total ascents = 6. First two climbs on attempts to do the Glacier Gorge Traverse, third climb on the sucessful Glacier Gorge Traverse, the fourth on a traverse of Lookout Mountain, Mount Meeker, Longs Peak, Storm Peak and Half Mountain and the last two from the Longs Peak Ranger Station just for fun.

Snidely Whiplash - Feb 23, 2006 4:43 pm Date Climbed: Aug 2, 1973
Route Climbed: From Keyhole Route
Consolation prize for not making it up Longs Peak that day after one in our party got altitude sickness.
Route Climbed: from Keyhole Date Climbed: July 14th, 2005
The ridge from the keyhole is a lot of fun and the views of the northface of longs, the boulderfield and Glacier gorge are amazing! Fun mountain and not too much extra effort after Longs....
Route Climbed: North Ridge Date Climbed: May 29, 2004
Storm Peak lived up to its name this day. Summited at noon in unsettled but not particularly threatening weather. Then descended into a full-blown winter-like whiteout that provided for a mini-epic. I will try to post a trip report in the next week or so.
Route Climbed: North Ridge approached via Granite Pass Date Climbed: December 24, 2003
Made the climb today while waiting for my parents to fly in. Easy going without much snow. Skies clear except for giant lenticulars all over the front range. Temps not too bad with gusty wind at times. The north ridge offered an unmatched view of glacier gorge and made for a fun hike.
Route Climbed: East Ridge Date Climbed: 2001, 2003
I have been up Storm twice, once in 2001 and early in 2003, training for Orizaba. Great views of Glacier Gorge from the summit. Fun glissading down the south face too.

Route Climbed: East Scramble Date Climbed: July 7, 2004A fun extra after Longs Peak. There was some pretty deep snow where I sunk up to my hip, just made it more interesting without cramp-ons.

Route Climbed: Eastern Slopes Date Climbed: October 9, 2004There was some postholing across The Boulderfield, but the weather was excellent. Much better than my previous attempt.

Route Climbed: East Face Date Climbed: December 22Beautiful day with hardly any wind, the trip down in the dark in a snow storm was not so beautiful ;)
