Time for some new pants?Gosh, should we set up a SP donation fund for some new pants?! Just kidding. Looks like a cold, fun climb.

Re: Time for some new pants?:)
Thanks Dragger - yeah, I guess it's time to repair (or God-forbid retire!!!) my "lucky" pair of wind stoppers. An encounter with a sharp flake on this route seems to have sealed their fate!
....it was pretty cold!!
How did you enjoy your time in the Gorge - I think I have seen some new photos from the Gorge on "what's new" but don't recall if they were yours. Will check it out later today.
Thanks for stopping by!

Re: Time for some new pants?Hey there,
Yes, thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Gorge. Because one of my closest friends lives in Hood River we tend to be up there quite a bit -- just love it. We just did some Gorge hiking this time: Dog Mtn and Chinidere. Can't wait 'till next time. :^)
I understand about the pants! Somehow I always seem to poke holes in mine the minute I strap crampons on. Ugh! Good luck with the "repair."

Re: Time for some new pants? Thanks Aaron!
YES, I agree.......Mr. Santa, here's what daddy's gonna need:
a double portaledge w. fly, another set of Aliens, a haulbag, another piton hammer, a couple of 'em new fangled C4's (w. that crazy, orgas*ic smooth trigger action!), few more lost arrows, angles, and bugaboos, a belay seat..........
oh yeah, a pair of wind pants also.
:)
