looks interesting. Are there lots of black flies in the spring- you know those things that are about 1/10 as big as a mosquito- and swarm/bite worse than mosquitos

Thanks alot for you vote... I did include a little bit of information about black flies... but yes for about a six week spell each spring they are the bain of every hiker's existence... clouds of them follow you everywhere... do you have black flies down in Ohio? My condolences if you do... I thought we were the only unlucky ones... Cheers -Tim-

This is great! I grew up in Ontario and used to climb this mountain with my Dad and brothers. We loved it. I haven't been up it since 1989, but after reading your page I'm dying to do it again.
