Rewarding Endeavor

The S-E ridge route is much more rewarding than the walk from the overpass, but a couple of times I got lost or had to turn around, although having done the trail before and knowing the area. Always try to climb up to the ridge to your left, or stay as close as possible to the ridge to your right when going down. Once you have reached the top ridge at 10,000 ft, where you are out of the bushes, the trail is easy. From the south peak continue to the main peak and from there take the usual trail to the overpass trailhead (2.5 hours). Then hitchhike down to the TH at the silver sheds where you left your car. So you got everything of the mountain and avoid getting lost during the descent.
