I expected this page, when the photos began to appear. The route is meticulously and exactly described, all pitfalls of orientation are properly mentioned and elucidated. I am happy, that the Sorapiss has remained a quiet giant, aloof and rarely climbed, devoid of a ferrata heading up to the summit, even the cross is absent (Thanks God!), so it looks almost the same way as Paul Grohmann and his fellows had seen it during their first ascent. I hope it will remain so!
Otherwise, my deep compliments and thanks for sharing, Fabrizio.
Ciao, Andrej
Grazie! I'm sure that this mountain will always remain as it is now ( or as it was in the days of Grohmann ), a goal for real mountain lovers, that are not afraid of strenuous routes like this. There are already too many mountains in the Dolomiti for tourists, that in the last 20 years have become in some areas orrible fun-parks.
But as I said in the page Sorapiss is not for everyone...
Ciao!
As a side note: the page does not fit on a high resolution screen side to side. You might want to tweak the size and placement of the photos to allow for easier viewing.
Thank you, it's really one of the best routes of this wonderful area.
This page is similar to other pages of mine, they all seem to fit well on my screens, I'll try to change the size of the panorama, maybe the problem is there.
Ciao!
...SP had more such high quality pages! That is what it is intended for. It would easilly remain the best mountaineering web page. Congratulations, Fabrizio!

Thank you, I try to do my best, I don't like much this Wiki-pages that we often see on the site, that even a 5 years old kid could do. The only thing we can do is to keep posting good stuff about mountains and ignore bad or OT stuff.
Ciao!

Re: Excellent pageThe place where you have 3 pictures side by side is where the page becomes too wide for my screen. The pano overlaps the Table of Contents as well.

Re: Bellissima Montagna...Grazie, te la consiglio, è forse la più bella tra le vie normali delle Dolomiti ( e una delle meno frequentate ).
