Full-on!Heavy-duty set-up! Looks like a great way to run laps! I have a few friends who put in much more time than I do soloing stuff; I've heard of using a Mini-Traxion as a popular method, but I've also heard of many using a back-up of sorts (the times I've done it, I usually just use a Gri Gri, but it's a pain-in-the-ass to feed). Does your belay/solo device rely on teeth or a camming unit? How much does a dedicated upper body harness run?
I'm missing the ice at Ouray looking at your photos... Enjoy climbing there (& the Ice Fest if you haven't been!).

Re: Full-on!Yes, heavy duty. Ushba is probably the most popular device in the ice park. Super easy for top roping and running laps, and it does feed well (especially if you have a long rope or a backpack hanging at its end). Chest harness - just feels more secure to me, but you don't need one for using Ushba. I have not tried other devices.
