Ordinarily a walk through the forest, even one with few views, has some value ... not when you run into trail ogres who yell at you and your dog, and thus ruin your day. We didn't exactly make it to the summit, but it was close enough. Just knowing these mean people were on the same trail was enough to send us scurrying back.

Good but uneventful hike
Although the summit doesn't afford a view, still had a good time. Good trail, but the best part was leaving the trail to reach the summit and then hunting for the benchmark.
