Chased by several stormsSeveral independent storms developed on the south and north sides of the peak. I had to stop and take cover a few times to avoid scrambling on wet rock. A very secluded peak with fantastic views. Climbed the SW ridge. Going on the ridge requires either very exposed rocks on the cliff or negotiating bushes on the lower side.
Mist Peak on the SE should not be missed.

Southwest RidgeNice ridge and summit view. Sticking to the crest of the ridge to avoid steep and brushy sidehilling is the key.

Southwest RidgeDayhike from the dam. Decent use trail almost to the lakes west of Recess. Climbed the class 2 ramp/weakness just east of the main lake before working around the intermediate peak. Great views!
