Looking the same...Looks the same as it did in 1983. It's awesome character ... on Rainier's southwest side. SouthRaker, THANKS for voting on my "GINGHAM SKIRTS BUTTE" picture. Just thought you should know, it's rock is very unstable; contains bentonite or "swelling clay." Happy climbing!!! I WANT AN OLYMPUS camera, please!

Re: NeverI agree! Maybe it's just the face I was photographing combined with the time of year, but I've never seen Rainier with less snow either.
