It is more a list than anything else - but I think it is useful! I could not find all of these sub-groups on my map. An "access"-description as for some of the sub-groups would be nice.
Queyras is the western=french half of the mountain group "Cottian Alps" that is known for Monviso as the highest mountain and that of course does not end at the politcal border. This name should be mentioned somewhere.
