Description
I'd like to build a mountain somewhere near Toledo. I'd prefer at least 1000feet of vertical but 2-3000 would be ideal. Will need many volunteers to donate either fill material, land, and/or time to plan/maintain trails on the mountain. Tree planting help would be greatly appreciated as well.
All are welcome to join in the fun!
I have about a third of an acre that would be an ideal place to start building....

CRiedel2 | Mt Built in VA Beach
| Virginia Beach, Virginia built a "mountain" over an old dump site. It's called Mt Trashmore. Not much to it, but popular with the locals. Maybe I'll do a page on it before I leave the area, haven't been there yet though. | Posted Feb 20, 2007 5:42 pm |

| That's very ironic, we have a 'Mt Trashmore' of our own a little north of here in Michigan. Its official name is Riverview Highlands and is a small skiing area. When the wind blows just right it just reeks of garbage as immediately adjacent to it there is still an active landfill operation. | Posted Jul 8, 2007 5:28 pm |
jrbouldin | The O-I building's vacant...
| I was looking at possible routes up some of the buildings downtown once...that's as close as you're gonna get outside of the grain elevators. | Posted Feb 26, 2007 2:29 am |

| You know, I spend a lot of time looking at grain elevators.... They would make an awesome recycling project if we could find one that's unused. | Posted Jul 8, 2007 5:26 pm |
