Description

I'm a recent transplant to the west coast. I have been taking day hikes (5-6 hours) in the area surrounding Santa Monica, in the SM Mtns (Zuma Canyon, Topanga and Sandstone). I also traveled to Yosemite and the San Gabriel Mountains. I am fit, but haven't done any mountaineering or climbing, but I am keen to do so. I am looking for good folks to hike with, since I've been going it alone. Thanks for reading run-on sentences. :-)

	I would love that. Count me in. I am a novice at mountaineering, but just took my first climbing class at an indoor climbing gym and I have many tough hikes under my belt, plus, I love the cold. Thanks for the invitation.

	I get out to Hike in Idyllwild about once a week and it is a nice place to see if you like mountain hiking. I need to get back to climbing since hang gliding has taken over the past 5 years so new climbing partners are welcome.
