Backpacking partner needed anytime

I am some what new to the state of New Mexico and have only acquired a few good backpacking friends. My main backpacking partner is undergoing knee surgery and is down till late summer of 2007. I am looking for someone that is interested in extreme backpacking with an emphasis on safety and fun. I would prefer someone that is self relient and who has their own gear. I am up for going whenever and I only need about a week and a half notice to take off work. Let me know!
