Pictograph in Calf Creek Canyon
This is one of the pictographs visible on the far side of the canyon from the trail. Since the figures appear tiny from the trail and are hard to appreciate, I ventured over for a close look, ending up right next to them. There is no telling for sure what this figure-- painted several hundred years ago-- is supposed to represent. To me, the horn-like appendages suggest a spirit, but that is merely a guess. One of the really interesting things is that this is one of three figures linked by their hands. It is the middle figure, and all three are human-sized.
