Nice Climb
Greg and I packed into 10,600' and set up camp near a nice stream flowing down from Peak 3994. The next morning we headed first up the cirque, but quickly veered to the right, gaining a ridge with good footing that led to the summit ridge and continued on to the summit. Nice views, most of the smoke had cleared out. On the way back Greg went over to Kid while I went back to camp (I had just climbed Kid a couple of weeks prior).

East Ridge
More snow than expected, making the traverse below eastern ridgeline from Birch Creek a real pain in the ass. Great views all around though! Look forward to skiing it in Spring.

From Birch Lake
Couldn't get a Wilderness Permit for S. Fork Big Pine Creek, so I hiked up Birch Creek rather spontaneously. Great view of the mountains I wanted to visit.
