A rainy day kept us from getting on a better route, but the NNW Ridge made for a good "rest day". The climbing wasn't very good but the adventure/ferrata/occasional views made it fun.

from Rif. Locatelli to Colle dei Camoscio and to the top...
...descent from colle dei Camoscio to Rifugio Lavaredo and then to Rifugio Auronzo.Nice easy ascent with perfect panorama not only to Tre Cime...and not too many people...
Route Climbed: Ascent: North route ("Innerkoflersteig"), descent: south route Date Climbed: 20. September 2003
Perfect weather (clear blue sky) giving perfect views. Not too many people. Nice tour for Ferrata-beginners. You should use a helmet for the last section (above "Gamsscharte") because of possible rockfall caused by climbers above you.
