Blowdowns make dogs sad
Hiked this today with my 2 year old dog. He loved everything... except all the blowdowns. I started counting after the first few and lost count somewhere after 60. I know they are not trying to make this a "trail" and actually take measures to obscure it. But, I think a little effort to actually make it a real trail would reduce some of the other negative ecological impact of it being a "herd path" and in the big scheme work better for everyone. That said still a fun hike. After 7 miles of relatively flat hiking this sure was a shock to the system with 1500 feet gain in about a mile.

GoodA good trail, the slide is not that difficult but there are some decent views from it!
