"Joe Kelsey's Climbing and Hiking the Wind River Mountains is the most comprehensive book available for climbing in the Wind Rivers. The book covers a wide array of information and is the authoritative guide climbing in the Wind River Mountains. The route information is specifically presented in a sparse manner allowing the climbing party to retain some sense of adventure. Only an overview of the routes and a photo or two is all the beta you get."

Great Book!!
For climbers, this is the definitive book on the Wind River Range. Kelsey's book divides the range into twelve sections, giving detailed info on access, with emphasis on climbing routes. The book also contains overviews on flora, geology, history, first ascents and a listing of the 51 highest summits.
If you're thinking about going into this magnificent mountain range, you gotta have this book!

Small book
I would echo Bill's comments above; this book is a must for climbers in the Winds. This book was also published in 1980 as a Sierra Club Totebook, so if you want it in a very small size to take along on a trip, look for that version.
