Using the Bora 40 as a starting point, this ski pack is designed for avalanche professionals, day tourers and out-of-bounds escapees. Top-loader by design, a full-length side zipper allows you to access gear without unloading the entire bag. Unique quick-release ski attachment system uses rugged Hypalon™ sleeves to protect your pack. State-of the-art thermo-molded foam shoulder straps are nylon-lined and offer superb support and comfort. Removable ''back seat'' mat slides into its own pocket. Removable, tapered high-density polyurethane framesheet with a single 7075-T6 aluminum stay offers lightweight load stability and torsional flexibility. Canted bottom won't interfere with movement and ensures the load is carried directly above your hips, where it's most stable. Thin, lightweight thermo-formed foam hipbelt pivots for freedom of movement and is removable to save weight for summit attempts. Convenient front kangaroo-style pocket with full-length offset zipper allows quick, easy access and is self-draining for wet gear. Dual daisy chains and ice axe loops with Axe Keeper straps let you lash on all your extra gear and tools. Floating top-lid pocket and side compression straps stabilize and secure the load. Made of 210-denier high-tenacity nylon with Spectra™ Hardline® ripstop on the sides and top, with 630-denier high-tenacity nylon packcloth on high-wear areas.
