In 36 years of climbing, this is clearly the Best Harness that I have ever owned. As a guide I have been on the rock more than 150 days a year, for the past 3 seasons. As an old man with a bad lower back, I must protect myself and the health of my back as Best as I can. This Harness is like an Orthopedic Back Support with leg loops. What sets it above other "wide" harnesses is the support stiffener, in the center, of the Swami Belt. It provides both comfort and support for the lumbar area of my back. It is simply great !!! I don't care for the padded leg loops in my everyday sport or trad climbing. I use another, non-padded set of leg loops. Yes, the Harness is bigger than most, but that is the Power of the Product and it has never been "in my way". If you are climbing or hanging at belays, with steady frequency, I highly recommend this Harness to YOU.

I mainly climb single day trad leads and have really fallen in love with this harness. The harness is heavier and wider than most harnesses. You'll also find it to be much more comfortable and supportive as well. I've taken some easy falls in this harness and have found it to be a very soft catch. Additionally, It is very well balanced as you hang. When I was shopping for my harness, I must have done the "store hang" on every harness out there until I found one that didn't feel like I was going to tip over backwards. This was the best of them all. It is very adjustable and I believe well suited for those with long torso's such as mine.

Tough, durable, balanced and yet comfortable with enough gear loops to hang anything you want. Highly recommended.
