I've had this jacket for a year now. It's very light for a totally weather proof and wind proof jacket. I wear it snowshoeing, backpacking, fishing, bicycling, rock-climbing and ice-climbing. The cut fits very well with a climbing harness and doesn't rise when you lift your arms high. The hood fits over my helmet and cinches so that i can turn my head and see.

I wish it had tougher fabric on the shoulders so i could wear heavy packs. I only use it for daytrips and weekenders with a 30lb pack. I think it would wear quickly otherwise.

Picked it up at North Face Outlet store for $180.
