I really don't think this is a 4th class route. You are technically climbing vertical with a vast amount of exposure. Low 5th class for sure, but 4th class leads the average joe to think you can just scramble up it. I think the average joe should use protection. This route is more difficult than the standard route next to it which is rated at 5.1. Just my opinion on a great page.
